Focus and Scope

The Journal of Postharvest Technology provides a forum for the rapid dissemination of significant novel and high impact research in the field of postharvest technology. Earlier, the journal was mainly devoted to horticultural crops, but since 2017, scope of the journal has been expanded to all aspects of food processing and preservation including cereals, meat and dairy products. The journal also covers the related topics of processing and value addition of food products with special focus on nutritional quality, stability, and bioavailability of nutrients in processed products.
